HOW TO RESET ASUS ZENFONE MAX PLUS (M1)

Option 1, Hard Reset with Menu Software:

1. Make sure the battery is fully charged
2. Turn on the Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1)smartphone
3. Do not forget to backup all important data
4. Go to menu: Settings> Backup & reset> Factory Data Reset> Reset Phone
5. Select Clear everything to continue and make sure you are ready to formatAsus Zenfone Max Plus (M1).
6. Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) will automatically reset and reboot until ready to use.

Option 2, Hard Reset with  Hardware Button:

1. Make sure the battery is fully charged
2. Do not forget to backup all important data
3. Turn off Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1)
4. Press and hold the Volume Up key (do not let go)
5.Press and hold the Power button,
6. Wait until the vibrate appears on Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1), then release the Power button (do not release Volume Up button)
7. If we see the Logo appearing on the LCD screen, release the Volume Up button (release all the buttons now)
8. Wait until Fastboot Mode appears
9. At this point, use the Volume Down button to select Recovery Mode and continue by pressingPower Button to confirm or OK
10. Wait until the Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1)LCD will display the Android Logo with an error sign
11. Then press and hold POWER button, then press once Volume Up then release, then we will see menu Android System Recovery Mode.
12. Follow the menu on the LCD screen to continue erasing the data / factory Reset for the Asus Zenfone Max Plus (M1) hard reset, useVolume Up or Volume Down to navigate Menu and press Power Button to OK or Enter
